3. Return Authorization Requirement

All returns require prior authorization from CareWay Living. Any item sent back without prior approval may be refused, delayed, or deemed ineligible for refund or replacement. Return instructions, including any approved label or pickup process, will be provided only after review of your request.

4. Eligibility for Returns

Subject to this Policy, a return may be approved only if all of the following conditions are satisfied:

  • The return request is submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery
  • The item is unused, uninstalled, in substantially original condition, and returned with original packaging, manuals, accessories, and components where applicable
  • The item is not designated as non-returnable or final sale
  • The item is returned in compliance with the instructions provided by CareWay Living

For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery to preserve eligibility for a damage, defect, or wrong-item claim.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide sufficient information for review, including:

  • Your order number
  • Photographs of the item, packaging, shipping label, and any visible damage
  • A clear written description of the issue

Upon verification, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement, refund, store credit, prepaid return label, or pickup arrangement, depending on the product, supplier requirements, and the nature of the issue. Because products are fulfilled by our supplier or manufacturer partners, returns for damaged or defective items must be shipped to the designated supplier or manufacturer return facility — return instructions provided upon approval will include the correct U.S. return address.

6. Non-Defective Returns

Approved returns for non-defective items are accepted only when the product meets all eligibility requirements in this Policy. Non-defective returns are subject to the following:

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  • If CareWay Living provides a label or pickup service for convenience, the associated cost may be deducted from the refund
  • A restocking fee of up to 25% of the product price may apply
  • Original shipping charges are not refunded
  • If the order originally qualified for free shipping over $100, CareWay Living reserves the right to deduct the outbound shipping value from the refund where permitted by law, particularly if the return causes the order value to fall below the free shipping threshold
  • If the original order was under $100, the $60 shipping charge is non-refundable once shipment has occurred

7. Return Shipping and Timing

Once a return is approved, the item must be shipped or made available for pickup within 7 calendar days, unless otherwise stated in writing by CareWay Living.

CareWay Living is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or delayed in transit during unauthorized or customer-arranged return shipments. We recommend retaining tracking and shipping records for your return.

8. Refunds

Refunds are issued only after the returned item is received and inspected at the designated supplier or manufacturer return facility, or after a claim is otherwise verified. Approval of a return does not guarantee a full refund.

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are typically processed within 7 business days after inspection and approval
  • Bank, card issuer, and payment processor timelines may extend the posting date
  • Refunds may be reduced by restocking fees, return shipping charges, original outbound shipping charges, and any other applicable deductions disclosed in this Policy or permitted by law

9. Replacements and Exchanges

Where available and appropriate, CareWay Living may offer a replacement rather than a refund for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

Exchanges for a different model, variation, or item are not guaranteed and depend on product availability, supplier/distributor approval, and current pricing. If an exchange is approved, additional shipping charges, price differences, or restocking fees may apply.

10. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return or refund:

  • Items reported as damaged, defective, or incorrect after the 48-hour reporting window
  • Items returned after the 30-day return window
  • Items that have been used, installed, assembled, modified, or are not in original condition
  • Custom-made, made-to-order, personalized, or special-order items
  • Clearance, closeout, or final sale items
  • Items missing original parts, packaging, manuals, or accessories
  • Items damaged by misuse, improper handling, neglect, accident, or normal wear and tear
  • Any item designated on the product page as non-returnable

11. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled before shipment for a full refund
  • Once an order has entered fulfillment, processing, freight scheduling, or shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible
  • If cancellation after processing is permitted, administrative fees, supplier cancellation charges, or shipping-related charges may be deducted where applicable
  • Orders canceled after shipment must follow the return procedures in this Policy

12. Refused Deliveries and Undeliverable Orders

If an order is refused at delivery or returned as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, failed delivery coordination, or customer unavailability, CareWay Living may deduct return shipping charges, storage fees, restocking fees, and original shipping charges from any refund, where applicable.

13. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us first to resolve any issue before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback. Initiating a chargeback for an order that remains subject to this Policy may delay resolution while the matter is reviewed by the payment processor.

14. Limitation and Reservation of Rights

CareWay Living reserves the right to deny any return, refund, exchange, or cancellation request that does not comply with this Policy, that appears fraudulent or abusive, or that is otherwise inconsistent with applicable law, supplier restrictions, or carrier requirements.

This Policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. In the event of a conflict between this Policy and applicable law, applicable law will govern.
