The Drive Medical Nitro Duet Rollator and Transport Chair is as unique as it is functional. The Nitro Duet functions as both a rollator as well as a transport chair. If you need assistance walking, the Nitro Duet performs as well as any rollator. The 10” front wheels provide a smooth, comfortable roll. If you need a moment to sit and rest, the seat and padded back make for a convenient resting spot. If you are going a longer distance than you may be able to walk with a rollator, you can simply reverse the backrest and drop down the legrests and armrests to create a transport chair.
Customers have often requested a piece of equipment that can be used as both a chair and a walker. The Nitro Duet is the piece of equipment we can finally offer to satisfy both needs. What’s best about the Nitro Duet is it does not sacrifice the functioning of a rollator or transport chair while still performing as either. What Makes It Different:
Pretty much everything about the Nitro Duet is different. The original Duet folded much like a standard rollator and had 8” wheels. The cross-brace design makes for a more rigid and sturdier frame. The cross-brace design also allows the Nitro Duet to fold up narrower and more compact thus making it more convenient to store and transport. A tool-free two-position backrest is reversible depending on whether it is being used as a transport chair or rollator. The 10” front wheels will give a superior roll to the 8” wheels and be friendlier to outdoor usage.
